Narrator: In this video you'll learn how to create and customize watchlists in thinkorswim® mobile for Android.
To view a different watchlist or create a new one, tap the watchlist name. This takes you to the watchlist selector. Here you can see all the other watchlists in the same category. To see other categories, tap the arrow in the top left of the screen. Here you can see the categories of predefined watchlists, and access personal watchlists you've created. All watchlists that you have created on thinkorswim desktop or web will sync and display here.
To create a new watchlist within the watchlist selector, tap Create New Watchlist. First, give your watchlist a name and tap Next. To add items to your watchlist, use the search box to find symbols. Tap the plus symbol to add them to your watchlist. Continue using the search function to find and add more symbols and tap the check to finish the list.
Now you can see your new watchlist. To the right of each symbol are columns containing different data points that you can scroll through. To sort by an individual column, tap the column header. The arrow will denote if the list is sorted top to bottom or bottom to top. Tap again to return to sorting by symbol.
To customize which data columns appear, tap the gear icon next to Symbol. Here you'll see a list of available data points. To remove a data point, tap the eye next to it. To add a data point, search or select a category and then tap the gray eye. To change the order of data points, tap and hold the bars to the right and drag accordingly.
Watchlists in the thinkorswim mobile app are powerful tools for tracking the market.
