Narrator: Schwab takes your security seriously. To help protect your accounts, Schwab uses a 2-step verification process when a new or unrecognized device is used to log into Schwab.com. Want to skip this step? Consider designating your device as trusted. A trusted device is a device you use frequently, such as your personal cell phone, tablet, or home computer. When you log in to Schwab.com on a trusted device, Schwab will automatically recognize the device and skip two-step verification.
You can quickly and easily add, review, or remove trusted devices from your profile. To add a trusted device, visit Schwab.com on a new device. Enter your Login ID and Password, then select Log in.
Log in credentials are entered and Log in is selected
You will be prompted to select an authentication method to confirm your identity. After confirming your identity, select Trust this device to add it to your list of trusted devices, then click Continue. Don't trust a public or shared device.

If you’d like to remove a trusted device, select Untrust. The selected device will now be required to go through the two-step verification process the next time it attempts to log in. If you do not recognize a device listed and suspect your account may have been compromised, contact a Schwab representative at 888-3-SCHWAB.
