Both logos then move to the bottom right hand of the screen and decrease in size. "Schwab Intelligent Portfolios® The Power of Planners" appears in the center with an animated thin white line completing a square.

Kate: And I'm Kate Goesel, CFP and Senior Team Manager of our planning group. We know that your finances grow, shrink, change and otherwise evolve with you - that's why we created Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Premium which combines automated investing technology with unlimited one-on-one guidance from Schwab's team of Certified Financial Planner professionals.
Melissa: Your financial plan includes simulations on how the stock market affects your savings and income in retirement, but the stock market will always have its ups and downs. A thoughtful financial plan here at Schwab may help remove the noise of the market and help show you how to work to achieve your goals regardless of market conditions.
Kate: Agreed Melissa. Along with being a financial planner, I'm also a wife, a mother and I care for my elderly mother. My husband and I needed help with a plan when we combined finances, and we needed a new plan when we started our family. Recently I have helped my own mother navigate her finances after the death of my father. Each of these life stages I've come upon -- I needed help from a CFP®.
Melissa: Kate, I completely understand. My parents moved in with me and my husband about 6 years ago. My father had dementia and was handicapped, and you can imagine the expenses of trying to accommodate his needs. After adjusting my financial plan with the help of one of my CFPs, I had the peace of mind to know that we were still on track.
No one's financial journey is the same, which is why our team of Certified Financial Planner professionals can help to address needs at every life stage. They will take the time to understand your needs, your wants, and wishes and build a plan that's tailored to your goals.
A gray box appears on the screen. As Melissa is speaking, text appears in the box that repeats the bulleted points.

There is no advisory fee or commissions charged for Schwab Intelligent Portfolios. For Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Premium, there is an initial planning fee of $300 upon enrollment and a $30-per-month advisory fee charged on a quarterly basis as detailed in the Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Solutions™ disclosure brochures. Investors in Schwab Intelligent Portfolios and Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Premium (collectively, "Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Solutions") do pay direct and indirect costs. These include ETF operating expenses which are the management and other fees the underlying ETFs charge all shareholders. Schwab does not charge an advisory fee for the SIP Program in part because of the revenue Schwab Bank generates from the cash allocation (an indirect cost of the Program). The portfolios include a cash allocation to FDIC‐insured Deposit Accounts at Charles Schwab Bank, SSB ("Schwab Bank"). Schwab Bank earns income on the deposits, and earns more the larger the cash allocation. The lower the interest rate Schwab Bank pays on the cash, the lower the yield. Some cash alternatives outside of Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Solutions pay a higher yield. Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Solutions invests in Schwab ETFs. A Schwab affiliate, Charles Schwab Investment Management Inc., receives management fees on those ETFs. Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Solutions also invests in third-party ETFs. Schwab receives compensation from some of those ETFs for providing shareholder services, and also from market centers where ETF trade orders are routed for execution. Fees and expenses will lower performance, and investors should consider all program requirements and costs before investing. Expenses and their impact on performance, conflicts of interest, and compensation that Schwab and its affiliates receive are detailed in the Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Solutions disclosure brochures.
