Upbeat music plays throughout.
The clip begins with a static top-down shot of a desktop. A notebook appears with "To do list" written at the top. The tip of a potted plant sits above the notebook next to a cup of coffee, a pen, and the tip of an iPad. The words "Set up a biller" appear next to an empty checkbox.
If you'd like to set up online payments through your Schwab Brokerage or Investor Checking account, you'll first need to add a biller, or payment recipient.
The screen fades to the Schwab.com platform.
Begin by clicking "Move Money" and choosing "Pay Bills."
A cursor rolls over and clicks "Move Money", and then clicks "Pay Bills."
Choose an account type, "Brokerage BillPay" to set up a biller using one of your eligible Schwab brokerage accounts, or "Bank BillPay" to set up a biller using your Schwab Bank account.
The cursor selects one of the accounts listed and clicks the "Continue" button.
From the Payment Center, click "Add a Company or Person."
The screen cuts to the Schwab.com Payment Center, and the cursor clicks a button on the right labeled "Add a Company or Person."
Browse the list of company categories or search directly for the biller you're looking for.
The "Add a Company or Person" box is superimposed over the previous page. The cursor types in "AT&T" into the search bar labeled "Search our Network." Then the cursor clicks the image of an AT&T logo that has appeared.
Choose the biller you would like to pay and enter the requested billing information.
The cursor types the AT&T billing information into the search bar.
You'll receive a confirmation message once your payment process is complete.
A small text box appears with a confirmation message.
However, if your search for a biller that does not exist in our network, you will be prompted to manually add them. Click "Other Company" or "Person", submit the requested details, and click "Add" when done.
The cursor types in "XYZ Billing" into the "Search Our Network" search bar, showing no results. The cursor hovers over a box with an image of a building that says "Other Company" then over a box with an image of a person that says "Person."
Payments to most major billers will be processed electronically. However, in some instances a paper check will be sent to the biller on your behalf.
The cursor adds the Company Name, Account Number, and other information to the Company profile.
You'll receive a confirmation page after successfully adding a company.
A small text box appears with a confirmation message.
Upbeat music plays in the background. We cut back to the top-down shot of the desktop, zoomed in a bit closer to "To do list" in the notebook. We see a checkmark animate in the box next to "Set up a biller," indicating that the task has been completed.
The screen transitions to a dark blue background with the text "Visit Schwab.com/HowToCenter for more videos."
The screen fades to the Charles Schwab logo with the following disclosures beneath:
