Narrator: Save time when building orders by having certain trade ticket fields automatically pre-fill based on your preferences.
You can set trade preferences using the All-In-One Trade Ticket as well as SnapTicket following similar instructions. For this example, we'll continue using the All-In-One Trade Ticket. To begin, select Trade, then select All-In-One Trade Ticket, and type in a desired symbol.

Narrator: Trade tickets populate default information based on the trade preferences on your account. To edit these preferences, select the gear icon in the corner of the ticket.

Narrator: Multiple options for default trade ticket behavior are available, including action, quantity, order type, and more. For example, you can set each new trade ticket to be a limit order of five shares that is good till cancelled.

Narrator: Set your desired Action & Price Prefill setting, which changes the behavior of a trade ticket when you select a bid or an ask. Select the information icon to learn more about this behavior.

Narrator: Finally, indicate a Trade Ticket Preference to open a SnapTicket or full trade ticket when initiating a trade from pages across Schwab.com. Select Save to confirm your preferences.

Narrator: Once confirmed, your preferences will apply to trade tickets and SnapTickets whenever you create a trade.
