Narrator: To help keep your information safe, the Schwab Mobile app offers a variety of security features. Let's take a look at them. To begin, tap the profile icon, then tap Security Settings. Here, you'll find a list of security features you can adjust, including your login ID, password, security question, biometrics settings, and more.
Profile icon is tapped and the Security Settings screen appears
Narrator: Let's start with your login ID, which you can update at any time. Tap Change Login ID, then enter and verify your new login ID.
The Change Login ID menu item is tapped and the new login ID is typed into the fields (time lapse)
Narrator: To change certain information, such as a login ID or password, you must meet character length, capitalization, and other requirements. The checkmark next to each requirement will turn green once you meet it.
As the new Login ID is entered, the green checks that verify each requirement is being met turn green.
Narrator: Each time you change your login ID, you'll be logged out and prompted to log back in with the new information. If you decide not to change your ID, simply tap Cancel to return to the security settings menu.
A blue line highlights the disclaimer warning that you must log out/back in if you change your login ID. Cancel is tapped returning the phone to the Security Settings screen.
Narrator: To change your password on Schwab Mobile, tap Change Password, where you'll enter your current password and add a new one. Green checkmarks will appear once you meet each password requirement.
Change Password is tapped on the Security Settings screen and the old/new password data is entered into the fields through the onscreen keyboard. Once again, we see the green checkmarks that confirm all requirements are being met.
Narrator: Be sure not to share your account access information, including but not limited to your login ID, password, PIN, and transaction codes, with anyone. Anyone you intentionally share this information with will be considered an authorized user by Schwab.
The security message appears as onscreen text
Narrator: If you forget your password, a security question can give you a way to log in without needing to call Schwab for assistance. Set one up by tapping Change Security Question, then choose one of the questions from the dropdown and fill in your answer. Again, green checkmarks will appear once you meet the requirements. When you're done, tap Submit.
Change Security Question is tapped, and a new security question is picked and the answer appears as obscured text as it is entered by the onscreen keyboard. Once complete Submit is tapped, returning to the Security Settings screen
Narrator: Next, tap Biometrics & Passcode to enable Face ID or set up a passcode to log into the app.
Biometrics & Passcode is tapped, and the Biometrics & Passcode screen appears
Narrator: Again, remember not to share passcodes, and be aware that by using biometric login, you're confirming that anyone who also has Face ID enabled on your device is authorized to access your account.
The security warning appears on screen as it is said
Narrator: Tap Check Mobile Notifications to review security notifications sent to the mobile app from Schwab. These could include transaction approvals or security checks if a login is detected on an unknown device. If you access your Schwab account from multiple devices, tap Device Management to designate which of your devices receive mobile notifications.

The Previous Login menu item is tapped, and the screen shows a list of previous login times and dates as well as what kind of device was used. Don't recognize a login is tapped and text appears with the guidelines to verify if a login was authorized or not.
Narrator: Additionally, you can choose to rename or remove trusted device access by tapping Rename or Untrust on any activity entry. For further assistance, contact a Schwab representative at 888-3-SCHWAB.
A blue highlight line appears around the Rename and Untrust buttons and the phone number appears as text on screen. A blue transition takes us back to the Security Settings screen.
Narrator: Need to enable or disable third-party access to one or more of your accounts? Select Third Party Access to see a list of third parties that can access your account information, such as tax preparation programs. To manage access, click on a linked third party to see which of your Schwab accounts it has access to.
Third Party Access is tapped and a list of third parties tied to account are shown. One is selected and a list of Schwab accounts is shown with corresponding toggle switches.
You can add or remove access to each of your Schwab accounts by tapping on its corresponding toggle switch. Tap Stop Linking to remove access and stop sharing data with the third-party account.
A blue line highlights the toggle switches and some are turned off. Stop Linking is tapped and a warning message appears for confirmation. A blue transition swipe takes us back to the Security Settings screen.
