Prior to joining Schwab in 2021, Austin was an advanced-planning attorney at Highland Capital Brokerage. He began his career working for the IRS, in its Estate and Gift Tax section. He holds a J.D. from Texas A&M School of Law, an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington.
