Jennifer Babchuk leads a team of economists within the Schwab Center for Financial Research (SCFR) that conducts original macroeconomic research and shapes Schwab's views on growth, inflation, labor markets, and policy. Jennifer partners with SCFR's investment research and strategy teams to inform the company's portfolio views and strategy. She also delivers analysis and thought leadership to investors and advisors.
Prior to joining Schwab in 2019, she performed economic research and policy analysis at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in the Office of International Affairs and at Global Economics Group. Jennifer holds an M.A. in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a B.S. in Neuroscience from Indiana University.
