Narrator: Looking to research or trade a security using options chains and the Trade Builder tool? To get started, navigate to Trade, and select Chains under Options.

Narrator: Begin by searching for the security you'd like to trade. This will enable the Trade Builder and options chain tools.

Narrator: To expand or collapse each section, click on the arrow icon found on the right-most side of each section. For this example, we'll continue with expanding the Trade Builder.

Narrator: Here, you'll need to select a Strategy Type, which will automatically add pre-selected contracts to the Trade Builder.

Narrator: Alternatively, you can directly select an option from the tables under Options Chain.

Narrator: You can refine the options chain by adjusting the View, Expiration Date, and Strikes Shown criteria.

Narrator: To change the data that displays in the options chain tables, select Customize, then select and deselect the column options of your choice.

Narrator: Select Next, drag the selected columns to their desired locations, then select Save.

Narrator: Selecting options from the Options Chain will automatically update the Strategy Type in the Trade Builder.

Narrator: You can add up to four legs in the trade. Once you're happy with your selections, select Continue to begin placing your trade.

Narrator: Depending on your chosen strategy type, you'll be redirected either to the All-In-One Trade Ticket® or SnapTicket®.

Narrator: Alternatively, if you are only looking to trade one option contract, also known as a single-leg option, navigate to the Options Chain. Once you find a contract you'd like to trade, you can select its Bid or Ask price.

Narrator: Doing so will redirect you to either the All-In-One Trade Ticket or the SnapTicket with auto populated order information based on your selection.

Narrator: If you don't want the trade ticket to prepopulate order information, simply select Trade for your desired option. Then, fill out the remainder of the trade ticket and click on Review.

If everything looks correct, click on Place Order to place your trade.
