Rachel Dashiell: My name is Rachel Dashiell, and I'm a Schwab Education Coach. I specialize in options trading and technical analysis.
Onscreen text: What do you love most about being an Education Coach?
Rachel Dashiell: My favorite part about being a Schwab Education Coach is the fact that we have so many different ways that clients can learn. And I think my favorite kind of portion of that is going to the live events—the workshops, the market drives—and getting to meet clients in person and actually just see and feel all the energy and excitement around getting to learn a new topic.
Because I'm so fascinated by the markets, because I do enjoy trading and teaching others about trading, I love getting to take a certain topic and prepare an entire webcast around it. One concept within long options or one type of price pattern and following a trade plan. So I think just getting to prepare for some of those webcasts and then seeing clients excited in the chat, asking more questions.
Onscreen text: What is your coaching style like?
Rachel Dashiell: So I bring that fresh new perspective to the education coaching team, where I haven't been in the markets for multiple decades, haven't seen these major crashes. So I look at markets with a little bit less bias.
I am a Market Technician, so everything I do really filters out the noise and focuses on price.
Onscreen text: What makes you tick?
Rachel Dashiell: Helping others find their financial freedom. Just helping others and paying it forward, essentially. So if I can teach someone about a certain topic that once helped me or teach someone who’s new to trading how to build a plan, how to look at the markets, that’s something that brings me joy.
So technical analysis takes all the noise out of markets and helps you focus on just the trend, the price action. And really, first and foremost, I guess price. So you can use other things, like relative strength, momentum, and price patterns along with it. But it gives you a discipline and a process as far as approaching markets and helps you build that into your trade plan.

Onscreen text: What makes Schwab Coaching® unique?
Rachel Dashiell: So the nice thing about Schwab Coaching is that clients get access to nine different sets of expertise. You have highly credentialized, highly tenured, professional educators that have been in the industry for some decades and like to share that experience and are passionate about sharing that experience with clients.
If you go to Schwab Coaching and tune in to a 45-minute webcast, it not only teaches you the concept of it, but it also gives you live examples and walks you through an entire trade plan and allows you to interact with other learners and interact with the coach that's actually teaching the session, to ask them questions as they go along.
Onscreen text: Schwab Coaching® is . . .
Rachel Dashiell: Schwab Coaching is actionable, individualized, community, growth and empowering.
