Schwab One brokerage accounts must have a $100 balance in order to receive a debit card or checks, unless linked to a Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Checking account.

1. Restrictions apply: The standard online $4.95 commission does not apply to foreign stock transactions, large block transactions requiring special handling, or restricted stock transactions (except for vested equity awards issued from an employer or corporate stock plan trades). See the Charles Schwab Pricing Guide for Individual Investors for full fee and commission schedules.

2. If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, at your request Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. ("Schwab"), Charles Schwab Bank ("Schwab Bank"), or another Schwab affiliate, as applicable, will refund any eligible fee related to your concern within the timeframes described below. Two kinds of "Fees" are eligible for this guarantee: (1) Program Fees" for the Schwab Private Client ("SPC"), Schwab Managed Portfolios ("SMP"), Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Premium ("SIP Premium"), and Managed Account Connection ("Connection") investment advisory services sponsored by Schwab (together, the "Participating Services"); and (2) commissions and fees listed in the Charles Schwab Pricing Guide for Individual Investors ("Account Fees") or the Charles Schwab Bank Pricing Guide. Program Fee refund requests must be received no later than the next calendar quarter after the Fee was charged. Account Fee refund requests must be received within one year of the date that the Fee was charged.

For more information about Program Fees, please see the disclosure brochure for the Participating Service, made available at enrollment or any time at your request. The Connection service includes only accounts managed by investment advisors affiliated with Schwab: Charles Schwab Investment Advisory, Inc. and Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. The guarantee does not cover Program Fees for accounts managed by investment advisors who are not affiliated with Schwab or managed by Schwab-affiliated advisors outside of the SPC, SMP, SIP Premium and Connection services.

The guarantee is only available to current clients. Refunds will only be applied to the account charged and will be credited within approximately four weeks of a valid request. No other charges or expenses, and no market losses will be refunded. Other restrictions may apply. Schwab reserves the right to change or terminate the guarantee at any time.

3. See the Charles Schwab Pricing Guide for Individual Investors ("the Guide") and any amendments to the Guide for comprehensive details on fees.

4. Account must be approved and funded before trading can occur. Options carry a high level of risk and are not suitable for all investors. Certain requirements must be met to trade options through Schwab. Please read the Options Disclosure Document titled Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options.

Ridiculous. I’d pull my accounts if it wasn’t for the fact that my company has our 401k with Schwabb

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Service is terrible! Schwab classified me as a pattern day trader without warning because I made a few same day trades. While this is a rule, they provided no warning and basically froze my account because I don't have the minimum funds in it. All I am allowed to do is sell equities. Apparently there is no appeal option either. Very bad customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tools. SSedge has all the tools anyone would ever want. One suggestion - in SSedge I like to use the % scale. Every time I turn SSedge on it remembers previous symbols with overlays in charts.. I have to delete the overlays in order to keep the % scale correct.
