Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, at your request Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. (“Schwab”) or Charles Schwab Bank ("Schwab Bank") will refund any eligible fee related to your concern within the timeframes described below. Two kinds of “Fees” are eligible for this guarantee: (1) asset-based “Program Fees” for the Schwab Private Client (“SPC”), Schwab Managed Portfolios (“SMP”), Schwab Intelligent Advisory (“SIA”), and Managed Account Connection (“Connection”) investment advisory services sponsored by Schwab (together, the “Participating Services”); and (2) commissions and fees listed in the Charles Schwab Pricing Guide for Individual Investors (“Account Fees”) or the Charles Schwab Bank Pricing Guide. Program Fee refund requests must be received no later than the next calendar quarter after the Fee was charged. Account Fee refund requests must be received within one year of the date that the Fee was charged.

Program Fees are calculated as a percentage of eligible assets in Participating Service accounts. For more information about Program Fees, please see the disclosure brochure for the Participating Service, made available at enrollment or any time at your request. The Connection service includes only accounts managed by investment advisors affiliated with Schwab: Windhaven Investment Management, Inc., ThomasPartners, Inc., and Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. The guarantee does not cover Program Fees for accounts managed by investment advisors who are not affiliated with Schwab or managed by Schwab-affiliated advisors outside of the SPC, SMP, SIA and Connection services.

The guarantee is only available to current clients. Refunds will only be applied to the account charged and will be credited within approximately four weeks of a valid request. No other charges or expenses, and no market losses will be refunded. Other restrictions may apply. Schwab reserves the right to change or terminate the guarantee at any time."

The excellent website allows me to do accomplish every investment activity and, on the rare times I need help, Schwab's people are fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FEATURES - except "Security Alert" feature, for example I am many years with Schwab, and keep there my main account. It's definitely the best or one of the best brokerage houses. But I also use other houses pretty often - and I see sometimes not really best feature implementation on Schwab, inconvenient situations. My suggestion for Schwab team: create (permanent, on monthly or quarterly basis) competition for the BEST CLIENT SUGGESTION to improve service or website. One or several winners will get a bonus (free trades for example), and their ideas will be published on the site. I am sure you'll get hundreds of ideas. Let say only 2% will be implemented - that will be a few good ideas, to boost your service and boost your clients' bond with Schwab. Good Luck to everybody!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unbelievably poor service When family member passed Charles Schwab has yet to finalize the inheritance procedure. In more than 6mos, They have come up with excuses each time estate executor has met with them and they have promised several dates to have account finalized. Once it is done when and if they can actually do it, we highly recommend that anyone thinking of going with this company retreat and go somewhere else!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Broken Product: Schwab One and Checking Apparently, Schwab One account initially created failed, but instead of returning money and closing the accounts, they kept them "open" for years. What is worst is that the Schwab.com website AND many multiple calls to Customer Support, across many different departments and days, NEVER communicated that the accounts were "invalid." Instead, attempts to set up an external linked checked account was REFUSED BY SCHWAB BANK to my external bank, which was so weird to them that they (external bank) placed a security hold against possible fraud. But still after multiple calls, wherein I was OFFERED a fix to apply a MANUAL voided check linked account configuration, did a final "Customer Verification Research Department" finally be the FIRST in YEARS (3+) that this was an Invalid account that should not exist because some issue with an EXPERIAN credit check in 2014 (with Experian being the unreliable, unsecure, terrible consumer credit monster).

It's difficult to reconcile with Quicken with you showing the changes in value from month to month. I will get the face value back and am not concerned about day to day fluctuations. Other institutions place them in a separate account and reconciling is much easier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Happy I went to Schwab today to deposit a check into my sons custodial account and was rejected. I was told that Schwab does not accept 'Starter' checks. Why i asked. No good reason given - just the rule. ITS A DEPOSIT!!! A CHECK I COULD USE ANYWHERE ELSE TO PURCHASE!!! WASTED AN HOUR OF MY TIME FOR NO GOOD REASON!!
