Jeffrey P. Ryan

CFA, Senior Equity Researcher, Schwab Equity Ratings®, Schwab Center for Financial Research

Ryan is responsible for supporting users of Schwab Equity Ratings, serving as the primary contact person for questions about the ratings and their use. Additionally, he manages the development and maintenance of Schwab Equity Rating—related documentation and training materials and conducts client presentations on the Schwab approach to equity research.

Ryan joined Schwab in 2002, after working at Zacks Investment Research; Ibbotson Associates, Inc.; McGladrey & Pullen LLP; PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP; and Ernst & Young LLP.

Ryan has a bachelor's degree in speech from Western Illinois University; a master's in economics from Southern Illinois University; and an M.B.A. in finance from DePaul University in Chicago, where he has served as an adjunct instructor in corporate finance. Ryan received his Chartered Financial Analyst charter in 1997.
