David Kastner

Kastner is the Market Strategist for Schwab Managed Portfolios – ETF.  Previously at Schwab, he was the Director of the Schwab Center for Financial Research Market Analysis Group, which provides regular commentary and perspective on the economy and markets.  Before joining Schwab in 1997, Kastner was in banking and futures trading after earning a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Kansas.

Kastner is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
