David Kastner CFA, Director, Market Analysis Group, Schwab Center for Financial Research Kastner specializes in international investment strategy and is a contributing author of the "Schwab Market Perspective," as well as periodic articles published on Schwab.com. He is also responsible for the Schwab Center for Financial Research Market Analysis Group, which provides daily and monthly commentary on the markets, and acts as the registered research analyst in charge of Schwab Equity Ratings® review. He is a licensed FINRA General Securities Principal and NYSE Series 16 Supervisory Analyst. Before joining Schwab in 1997, Kastner was in banking and futures trading after earning a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Kansas.
